Labforge meets with Minister Mélanie Joly.

At the Accelerator Centre, Labforge had the pleasure of meeting Canada’s Minister of Industry, the Honourable Mélanie Joly, to pitch our innovative technology. Alongside Minister Joly were Waterloo MP Bardish Chagger and the new President of the University of Waterloo, Dr. Bill Rosehart.

After delivering an excellent pitch, Labforge’s CEO, Yassir Rizwan, joined the roundtable with a subset of the Waterloo Dual-Use Technology group (wDUT) for a crucial discussion with Minister Joly and her team. Here, Yassir posed an important question to the Minister about helping Canadian SME Dual-Use companies grow, so that we are available to defend Canada when the time comes.
