Labforge Meets with LGen Michael C. Wright, Commander of the Canadian Army.

This past week at the Empire Club of Canada, our CEO and co-founder, Yassir Rizwan, had the privilege of meeting Lieutenant-General Michael C. Wright, Commander of the Canadian Army. 

For over ten years, Labforge has worked with the Department of National Defence at various levels. After listening to Lieutenant-General M.C. Wright’s speech, we noted three crucial takeaways for defence: 

1. Modernization of our forces requires an all-of-Canada approach.
2. Small companies will play a big role in building a strong and resilient industrial base for modernizing the Canadian Army.
3. Companies should hire veterans and have policies in place for time off as needed for reservists.
