Securing Canada’s Critical Assets

As drone adoption skyrockets across commercial and defense sectors, the need for rapid, reliable, and intelligent detection and tracking has never been more critical. Traditional monitoring systems often struggle with low-latency processing and edge deployment.

Enter Snow Flea: a unified multi-domain tactical electronic warfare and surveillance system designed for the protection of Canada’s critical assets in the Arctic. Snow Flea, is a mesh-networked constellation of Arctic-hardened sensor nodes that fuses passive sensing (EO/IR, seismic, acoustic, RF) with active sensing (radar) into a single real-time common operating picture across air, land, and sea – detecting drone swarms, ghost ships, and suspicious aircraft. At its core is Labforge’s proprietary multi-node tracking engine, which lets many nodes jointly track targets and hand them off seamlessly. Unlike conventional unattended ground sensors that only detect and report, Snow Flea nodes also act, with integrated signals intelligence, jamming, spoofing, and non-lethal deterrents. Built for comms-denied polar operation, it distills sensor data into low-bandwidth reports, runs on self-generated wind and solar power, and is rated to −51°C.
